We believe that just because you may need complex medical interventions to engage in everyday life doesn’t mean that you need to be in a hospital environment. We have designed our services to ensure that the rooms are as homely as possible reflecting contemporary style, welcoming and comfortable.  We want our residents and there families to feel like they can relax and socialise together.

We’ve designed our building to ensure that the rooms are of adequate size to take the specialised beds and equipment, including ventilators. All bedrooms and shared spaces have overhead hoists. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom capable of accommodating a full sized shower trolley.

The home offers spacious day areas where residents and families can congregate and socialise. We have a physio/gym space for therapy and recreation, a domestic kitchen area, a quiet contemplative area and a spa bath suite. There is plenty of access to gardens for fresh air and recreational space.

We provide every resident with their own room within a sheltered and supportive environment equipped to meet their personal needs be they physical, behavioural or cognitive.

Our building design promotes the opportunity for increasing independence. Each room has TV and internet access. There is ample opportunity for residents to personalise their rooms and keep their precious belongings with them. Each room has its own front door which gives access either to the community or to our communal gardens and recreational; facilities.
All rooms are designed to take domestic kitchens so that residents can start to put skills relearned into practice.

Shared spaces include lounges, a quiet contemplative room and a communal dining area. There is access to gardens and hobby and recreational spaces.

Our residents are supported to engage in local leisure, educational and vocational opportunities whilst being a part of a small community.

We provide a warm domestic setting that underpins the concept of home. Keeping our services small and local, ensures that friends and family can still play an active part in our residents lives. We encourage and support our residents to develop new relationships within the local community.
